Velamints Returning To U.S. Market
Two varieties of sugarfree Velamints are being reintroduced in the U.S. market by Ragold, Inc.
The sucralose-sweetened mints come in peppermint and chocolate, are made with only natural flavors and have no added colors, GMOs or gluten, the company claims.
One-ounce reclosable pouches with a SRP of $1, they ship in 24-ct cases and 12-ct clips strips, packing two per case.
Puffed Bean Snacks Are GMO-Free
Beanito Puffs baked snacks are debuting in white cheddar and hot chili lime varieties by Beanitos Inc.
Containing no MSG, preservatives, gluten or GMOs, the company reports the snacks have four grams of fiber and five grams of protein in each one-ounce serving.
Dan Costello, CEO, says: "In this day and age, consumers want healthy snacks that taste great. There’s a shortage of options that achieve both. That’s why we developed Beanitos Puffs. They are delicious and when you add in the nutritional power of beans, you get a better-for-you snacking experience."
The puffed snacks are available in 0.7-ounce bags with a SRP of $1.19 and ship in 24-ct cases. Three-ounce bags are also available with a $3.49 SRP and ship 12 per case.
Hammond’s Debuts Two Bars
Whoopie Pie and Cookie Dough are joining Hammond’s Candies, LLC’s line of award-winning chocolate bars.
Made with dark chocolate and filled with sweet cream, the Whoopie Pie bar translates the eating experience of the namesake baked good into a fresh and familiar format, according to company President and CEO Andrew Schuman. The Cookie Dough bars are made with milk chocolate and feature a cookie dough center.
"Consumers are intrigued with the creative flavors of this line of chocolate bars and we aim to consistently exceed their high expectations," Schuman says.
Both 2.25-ounce bars have a SRP of $2.95 and ship in 12-ct cases.
Cracker Sandwiches Get ‘Bold’
Featuring intense flavor combinations such as pizza, Buffalo blue cheese, and bacon cheddar, Lance brand Bold cracker sandwiches are new from Snyder’s-Lance, Inc.
The snacks contain no added preservatives and have three grams of protein per serving, the company claims.
Individual packs hold six cracker sandwiches and come in six-ct boxes. With a SRP of $2.99, they ship 14 per cases.
