Pür Gum Adds Two Flavors
Cinnamon and Coolmint have been added to the sugar- and aspartame-free Pür Gum line, according to supplier Action Candy Co.
The cinnamon variety is naturally infused and delivers a hot and sweet taste, while the natural mint has a crisp, chilling sensation, the company claims.
Jay Klein, founder and CEO, says: "Our passionate team continues to answer the call of healthy consumers with new flavor extensions. By making simple substitutions, our customers can enjoy a top-quality product that helps them eliminate their consumption of chemical sweeteners."
Sweetened with xylitol, the gums are free from GMOs, gluten, nuts, artificial ingredients and dairy, Pür reports. Coming in nine-ct blister packs, they have a SRP of $1.69 and ship in 12-ct display trays.
Warheads Jelly Beans Move To Everyday
As a result of consumer demand, Impact Confections, Inc. is packaging its Warheads Sour Jelly Beans for everyday sales.
The jelly bean sector has had strong non-seasonal sales recently, growing at two times the rate of the overall non-chocolate market, according to Andy Telatnik, Impact director of marketing.
He adds that the sour jelly bean market is even stronger, reporting it is growing at eight times the industry rate. "However, there doesn’t exist a sour branded, value-priced offering in the everyday market," Telatnik says. "We saw the opportunity to fill this gap with our highly successful Warheads Sour Jelly Beans."
The six-flavor assortment comes in five- and eight-ounce peg bags with SRPs of $1.39 to $1.99, respectively. The jelly beans also pack in four-ounce theater boxes with a $1 SRP and 14-ounce laydown bags that have a SRP of $2.99. All sizes ship in 12-ct cases.
