Old Bay Seasoning Adds Spicy Kick To Warrell Peanuts
Sweet butter-roasted peanuts coated in Old Bay seasoning are debuting under the Cravemmm! line from The Warrell Corp.
The seasoning blend of 18 herbs and spices has a 75-year history, and is known for its versatile and mildly spicy flavor, according to Old Bay brand manager Jessica Schatz. "True fans of Old Bay know it tastes great on everything, and peanuts are a natural base for many flavors, so combining them in one snack seemed like a natural fit," she says.
"The bold flavor of Old Bay pairs well with our sweet butter-toasted peanuts — perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up or road trip snack," notes Richard Warrell, vice-president of sales and marketing for the company.
Coming in 2.5-ounce peg bags, Cravemmm! Sweet & Spicy Peanuts have a SRP of $1.99 and ship six 12-ct displays per case.
