Bazooka Adds Gummies To Juicy Drop Line
The Juicy Drop line from Bazooka Candy Brands is being extended into gummies.
The sour-sanded chewy candies have a special reservoir, or "drop zone," on top to hold the brand's signature sour gel, which comes in an applicator pen. The gummies are available in assorted packs of Knock-Out Punch, Blue Rebel, Watermelon Blast and Apple Attack.
"Just like we did with Juicy Drop Taffy, we are looking to revolutionize an already popular segment with Juicy Drop Gummies," says Anthony Trani, vice-president of marketing. "We knew by marrying gummies with the signature sour gel, we'd make yet another product our consumers would absolutely love."
Bazooka reports the brand ranks second in front-of-store non-chocolate sales.
Coming in 2.01-ounce pouches with a SRP range of $1.60 to $2.20, the gummi candies ship 12 16-ct displays per case.
