Ferrero Debuts Mild, Bold Spearmint Tic Tac Blend

Spearmint Mix Tic Tacs are the first in a line of blended flavor variations in a single pack, according to Ferrero U.S.A., Inc.

Comprised of mild-flavored light green and bold-tasting dark green pellets, it is the first new mint variety since Powermint debuted in 2010, the company claims.

“The introduction of Spearmint Mix Tic Tacs gives us an opportunity to return to our roots while putting an innovative twist on a classic mint flavor,” says Todd Midura, marketing category manager.

With a SRP of $1.39, the one-ounce packs ship in 24-ct cases.

Extra Dark Bars Are Sweetened With Stevia

Made with Fair Trade 70% cocoa and all-natural stevia, Lilly’s Sweets’ Extra Dark line of chocolate bars in original and sea salt varieties is debuting.

With no added sugars, GE ingredients and gluten, the 2.8-ounce bars have 25 percent fewer calories than traditional chocolate, the company claims.

Shipping 12, 12-ct trays per case, the bars have a SRP of $4.99.

Cheez-It Breaks Out Of Cracker Aisle

The Kellogg Co. is debuting Cheez-It Crunch’d, the first cheesy puffed snack from the cracker brand, in cheddar and Hot & Spicy varieties.

The 3D items are made with 100 percent cheese, and the spicy products feature Tabasco seasoning, according to the company.

Coming in eight-ounce bags with a SRP of $2.89, they ship 10 per case.

Toffee Panned Nuts New From Hickory Harvest

Extending its flavored tree nuts line, Hickory Harvest Foods, Inc. is introducing hot-panned Butter Toffee Cashews and Peanuts.

Roasted in 100 percent peanut oil, the crunchy, sweet-and-salty snacks pack in nitrogen-flushed tubs for extended shelf life, the company reports.

Cashews carry a SRP range of $7.99 to $8.99 for 9.5-ounce containers, while 10-ounce packs of peanuts have a SRP range of $3.99 to $4.99. Both ship in six- and eight-ct cases.
